# Redeem

When USR is redeemed, a user receives a 1:1 (USDC, USDT) equivalent to the notional amount of the USR burned less redemption fees.

At current stage of protocol implementation:

* USR can be redeemed into USDC or USDT;
* Redemption fees are waived;
* USR redemption is processed within 24 hours.
